Weight Loss Tips From A Wimpy Weight Loser

Wimpy Weight Loser feeling successful

Me, the wimpy weight loser, feeling much less wimpy after finally getting toned

When I decided to get truly serious about shedding the last few tenacious pounds, I discovered that I was a wimpy weight loser. See, I wimped out when it came to spending hours doing cardio. And, really, I don’t know anyone who has successfully shed all the pounds walking endless miles on a treadmill.

What I needed to do was I lose weight fast. And, I knew it could be done. Just look at actors and actresses who’ve gone from blimp to ripped and sexy in just weeks.

Well,  I did it. Yes, even a wimpy weight loser like me can lose weight quickly. So,  I decided to share what I’d learned. Here, you’ll find a bunch of weight loss tips – things I wish I’d have known years ago.

What I’ve learned since is the very best ways to lose weight fast. Yes, cardio sucks and it will not remove the stubborn pounds. High intensity interval training is better by far, but it’s still only halfway there.

What truly works is a perfect combination of the two – called metabolic resistance training. This combination of cardio and weights stimulates muscles (for great body tone), burns a lot more calories per minute (shorter workouts and more fat burned), and leaves you with an increased metabolic rate after exercise (burning calories even when I’m sitting at my computer).

No longer wimpy and enjoying a great tropical vacation

I started a special course of metabolic resistance training just one month before summer, and by the time I hit the beach I had a body I was proud to show off in a bikini. Not only had I lost those last stubborn pounds of fat, I was the most toned I’ve ever been. And, today I love walking the beach in a bikini – and I feel terrific.

Now, a word of warning. To succeed with metabolic resistance training, you have to do it right. It’s not just about following one routine and doing the same set of exercises. You have to continually mix it up. I now use multiple training styles within a single week.

I’ll show you a bunch of my training routines here in my diary, but to really lose those stubborn pounds fast and get fully toned, I highly recommend following exactly the program I followed. I religiously followed the direction given to me by John Romaniello in his Final Phase Fat Loss training manual, tracked my incredible progress with his results tracker, and found the whole program super easy to follow with his training log sheets.
